Ben's Imaginary Band

Debut Album from solo artist Benjamin Romvari - Nocturnal Fables and Illusions was a 3 year long solo project that began back in late 2005. It consists of twelve hypnotic songs, all featuring variations in style and instrumentation, with soft, introspective vocals as a common theme. Acoustic guitar, whether finger-plucked or strummed appears in the majority or the recordings, but it rarely heard without some peculiar accompaniment. The recording style also varies song to song, but tends to have a "late-night basement" feel to it, reminiscent of artist Elliot Smith. All in all, this album is meant for listening and thinking, on a quiet night at home.
